Course Description
Certain biohazardous wastes must be properly packaged and signed for upon removal by approved personnel. Individuals signing a waste pick-up manifest binds the signee as the responsible party in the event of a mishap. Certain campus locations dispose of these wastes via a Regulated Medical Wastes (RMW) contractor. This course helps prepare the individuals such tasks.
Audience
- Anyone packaging wastes and signing manifests for the medical waste contractor to transport off-site.
