Course Description
This course is intended to raise awareness of hazards, risk, and mitigation of risks in animal handling operations at the University of Tennessee.
This course includes information specific to personnel working in Lab Animal Facilities (LAF), Office of Lab Animal Care (OLAC), and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
Lab users who work with animals may have addition training that is not under the purview of EHS. Please follow-up with your PI for training access and requirements.
Audience
- Laboratory personnel who handle animals.
