Electrical Safety Awareness

Course Description

Electrical Safety Awareness is a general orientation to electrical safety which is appropriate for all campus members. Topics include how electricity works, how to recognize electrical hazards, how electricity may cause harm, and how to work safely with or near electricity.
  • This training is for individuals who utilize electrified equipment, but who do not perform electrical work or potentially face a risk of electrical shock while completing routine tasks for their job.

Audience

  • All campus members who use electrified equipment but whose roles do not require tasks that expose them to a risk of electrical shock.
