Biological Permits

Course Description

  • Biological permit training is offered based on the partnership between the UTK Environmental Health and Safety Department (EHS) and the Principal Investigators (PIs) who seek or maintain permits for certain types of research. These include permits from the USDA APHIS (PPQ, BRS, VS), CDC, and USFWS.
  • This course fulfills PI requests for support, guidance, and reference resources, and offers a certificate of completion for training credit, although it is not considered mandatory training and is not required in order to obtain related permits.
