Course Description
This course is required for anyone who will be engaged in packaging or shipping materials using dry ice. Although the dry ice itself is a hazardous material, completion of this course prepares you to ship unregulated, nonhazardous materials kept cold with dry ice.
If you will ship biological materials, request access to the Shipping Biological Materials course, which addresses shipping with and without dry ice.
Audience
- Any employee who ships using dry ice.
- This is not for biological substance shipping. Please see the Lab Safety Training Menu.
