Course Description
Prerequisite: General Lab Safety
- Compressed gas systems and cryogenic liquids present hazards related to the contents, pressurized containment and delivery systems, installation, use, and storage. Proper techniques minimize inherent risks.
- All campus members who work with compressed gases or work in areas that use compressed gas systems benefit from hazard awareness and risk minimization practices.
- This course focuses on the laboratory workspace environment.
Audience
Any laboratory persons who work with or around compressed gas systems and have completed the general lab safety course.
