Course Description
The Biosafety Principles & Practices course introduces guidelines and best practices for safely handling biohazardous materials.
The RAMP framework guides lab users through the process of:
- Recognizing biological hazards
- Evaluating associated risks
- Selecting effective mitigation strategies to reduce the risk of biohazard exposure, including proper handling, storage, and disposal
- Preparing for, responding to, and reporting biohazard emergencies
