Course Description
Prerequisite: General Laboratory Safety: Initial 2025-2028
The General Laboratory Safety Refresher course reviews principles for safely encountering laboratory hazards for personnel who have completed the initial course for last year’s training requirements.
Upon completion of this course, learners will:
- Have a renewed awareness of several laboratory hazards and common routes of hazard exposure.
- Reinforce the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize hazards, reduce related risks, and prepare for, respond to, and report laboratory emergencies.
Audience
- Campus individuals who are required to complete annual laboratory safety training, and who have completed the initial general lab safety course.
